First Pokémon Sun and Moon info is coming next week
New information about Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be revealed on May 10, producer Junichi Masuda confirmed. The reveal is planned for 8 a.m. PT., and Masuda's teasing that it's "big news to everyone in the world."
Several official Pokémon Twitter accounts retweeted Masuda's announcement, including the North American one. In a blog post, Masuda neglected to say whether the news would come in the form of a livestream and offered no further hints.
Regardless, it's the first time fans will learn more about Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon since they were announced for a worldwide holiday release. The Pokémon Company revealed the logos and release date for the Nintendo 3DS games in February, after a trademark application hinted that they were the next titles in the franchise.
In April, Masuda appeared on a Japanese television show to debut what was teased as a new look at the next Pokémon games. Instead, he showed off the Pokémon 20th anniversary video that aired stateside ahead of the franchise's birthday. Later in the show, he joked that the games would include "over 10 new Pokémon."

Two New Pokemon Names Discovered And Trademarked - Are they The Sun & Moon box art Pokémon?
It has been recently discovered that two new Pokemon names have been
discovered and they are believed to be the names of some new Pokemon for
the Sun and Moon video games. The trademarks for Solgaleo (ソルガレオ) and
Lunaala (ルナアーラ) had been filed back in February.
The website Serebii reported that the two trademarks were filed by Yusuke Inui, a Japanese IP instead of by Nintendo themselves, Pokemon, Game Freak or Creatures since they all are stakeholders of the franchise.
It is possible that Yusuke Inui was a proxy to try and prevent any leaks of Pokemon Sun and Moon’s logo before they are officially announced.
As we have seen, major Pokemon Sun and Moon news is currently promised to be released this May making a lot of fans think that the new Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunaala might be announced as well.

Sony, Warner Bros., Legendary Pictures battle for Pokémon movie rights
According to a report posted on The Hollywood Reporter, The Pokémon Company is planning an auction for the Pokémon movie rights, which has led to a massive bidding war between several film studios.
According to the report, American film studios Warner Bros. Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment have expressed interest in possessing the film rights. However, the report mentions that another potential bidder, film financing firm Legendary Pictures, may come out as the potential victor of the bidding war, despite a representative for Legendary declining talks of an offer being put on the table.
Legendary Entertainment's filmography includes box office blockbusters like 300, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Pacific Rim, and the 2014 reboot of Godzilla. Last year, Legendary scored big with the box office behemoth Jurassic World and the critically-acclaimed drama biopic Straight Outta Compton at Universal Studios, who currently has a five-year motion picture financing/distribution agreement with Legendary beginning in 2014.
